The Forge Fitness covenant

WHAT WE DO & WHY WE DO IT

The Forge Fitness Covenant  is more than a fitness plan — it’s a call to transformation. This is where men commit to forging strength in body, mind, and spirit.

1. Brotherhood

We sharpen one another. Every man in the Forge holds his brother accountable — not out of pride, but out of love. Through prayer, check-ins, and encouragement, we build unbreakable bonds rooted in Christ.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17)

2. The Word: Strength for the Spirit

Each week begins and ends with Scripture — reading, reflection, and prayer. Just as the body needs protein to rebuild, the spirit needs the Word to renew. Members commit to consistent reading, journaling, and brotherhood discussions — learning how to live out God’s truth daily.

“Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)

3. Nutrition: Fuel for the Temple

We believe what we eat is a reflection of stewardship — honoring the body God has given us. Nutrition is viewed not through vanity, but through obedience and purpose. Clean, intentional eating becomes an act of worship — fueling energy, focus, and endurance for the calling ahead. “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

4. Training: The Fire That Forges

Every workout is an opportunity to sharpen both the body and the will. The grind, the resistance, and the sweat symbolize the spiritual refinement that happens when we face trials. Men push each other not only to build muscle but to develop grit, perseverance, and faith under pressure.

“For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things.” (1 Timothy 4:8)

⸻

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit… you are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” — 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
